Welcome Beginners
For those of you who, like me, are somewhat new to the game of golf I would like to welcome you to the “Beginners” section of the TheFairwayBunker.com. Here, Mike and I will periodically post unique perspectives on the aspects of the game that can really benefit beginners. We also hope to eventually have guests (local golf pros, scratch golfers, etc.) post their own tips that have helped to improve their game. You will be able to check out all of our posts regarding beginners here in our beginners category.
The most important thing about the “Beginners” section will be the comments that you leave and the unique insight they will provide. You know what they say, “Two heads are better than one!” But, imagine if everyone that reads a post in the “Beginners” section provides their insight in a comment… that would be a lot of ‘heads’! So, do your part and leave lots of comments because all of us beginners would really appreciate it.
And if you’re looking for some clubs to start playing without breaking the bank, take a look at two of our posts reviewing Acuity and Top Flite starter sets.

What equipment do you recommend for a begginer ?
As a beginner, you don’t want to spend too much money because you can’t be sure if you’re going to like golf enough to keep playing.
You can get a nice set of starter clubs from major sporting goods stores. We talk about one option in our Starter Club post, so you could check that one out.
But to answer your question, I would recommend a box-set of Acuity, Slazenger, or Max-Fli clubs. The box-sets are complete from driver to putter. You can find them on http://www.dickssportinggoods.com.
Thanks for the comment.
