Today is the first anniversary of the Fairway Bunker. On this day last year Kevin and I launched this sucker into the endless abyss that we call the internet.

We’ve decided to shake off the dust and resupply the inventory to the Fairway Bunker Store. We gave the ol’ girl a shot in the arm by adding new products for 2009.

It’s definitely been a while, and I thought this little comic was funny.  So, enjoy.

The Fairway Bunker is now on Twitter, so people can now ignore our stories and little 160-character snippets in multiple ways. We kind of feel like we just got a great Christmas present, but the directions are in Chinese. We’re going to try and figure out how this thing works. If anyone has any tips, don’t hesitate to let us know.

This was a Super Bowl commercial from a few weeks ago. I actually saw it before the game started, so I don’t know if that counts as a Super Bowl commercial. But anyway, I thought it was hilarious.

I think it is interesting to know your handicap as a golfer. It shows how much worse than par a player should be able to play. For your handicap to be accurate, you have to play a lot of golf. To establish a USGA Handicap Index, the lowest 10 rounds out of your last 20 are figured into the calculation, but you can start after just 5 rounds.
