Welcome to the Fairway Bunker!
What is this place?
This is a blog about golf. It’s as simple as that. We discuss everything that has to do with golf. News, equipment, fantasy golf, etc. We don’t want to box ourselves in and say it’s just a news site or just about the PGA Tour. We cover the LPGA, we talk about things that aren’t news but still relate to golf, and we even discuss blogging in general a little bit. But essentially, if you like golf, you’ve come to the right place.
Who are we?
The Fairway Bunker was launched in July of 2008, as a partnership between two friends, Mike and Kevin. Mike and Kevin both grew up in Delaware and graduated from the University of Delaware. Mike graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history and is working toward his master’s in secondary education. He has also worked in the golf industry for a few years. Kevin got his degree in civil engineering. Mike is the primary author, and Kevin is responsible for the design of the site, as well as writing occasionally.
A recent addition to the Fairway Bunker family is Brendan. Brendan is from Virginia and currently attends the University of Delaware where he is studying civil engineering. Brendan brings an easily readable style of writing to the site.
The three of us are avid golf fans, and we love to play golf.
