Nathan Green and Retief Goosen were tied at -18 after the final round, forcing them into a playoff. On the second hole of the playoff, Green was setup with a 12-foot birdie, but he couldn’t find the cup. Then, Retief Goosen had a par putt from 8 feet that he couldn’t hole either, allowing Green to come away with the victory.

The RBC Canadian Open continues with the 4th round today after being suspended by rain, for its first Monday finish since 1988, at 9am. The current leaders are Retief Goosen, Anthony Kim, and Michael Letzig at 14 under.

Mother Nature has decided that she doesn’t want the PGA Tour to play golf today. So, she went ahead and dumped some rain on the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Stewart Cink won his first major championship by beating Tom Watson in a four hole playoff. Cink made a birdie putt to put himself one shot behind Watson on the 18th, then all Watson had to do was par the next hole and he would have been the champ. But as we all saw, he choked and then fell apart during the playoff, and Cink won by six strokes.

As the Open Championship approaches, the question on most people’s minds is… “Will Tiger win?” And the answer is probably going to be, unfortunately for TV ratings and bandwagon golf fans, “No.”
