It’s been a busy few days here at the Fairway Bunker headquarters, and a few people have been giving us crap about not updating our fantasy golf picks yet (as if to say people actually read this stuff).

So, we’re going to try to satisfy your appetite a little bit without giving you the full-course meal. We’re just going to tell you who we’re picking instead of the normal format, due to the lack of time to get your picks in. So, here are our picks for the 2009 Travelers Championship from the TPC at River Highlands. If your team sucks this weekend, you know who to blame.

For our A-List, we’re starting Vijay Singh with Stewart Cink ready to launch on Alert-Five (a little Top-Gun reference there).

The B-List is pretty important. Make sure you play Hunter Mahan this weekend. He’s usually in the top-three at the Travelers Championship. We’re also starting J.J. Henry, with David Toms and Bubba Watson on the bench.

Unfortunately, Retief Goosen and Luke Donald aren’t playing this weekend. So, for our C-List, we’re starting Nick O’Hern, and we have Heath Slocum backing him up.

So, there you have it. Again, we’re sorry we weren’t able to get this out earlier to all 3 of you who actually read this. Also, we’re sorry we couldn’t go more in depth about why we picked each golfer. If you want the logic behind the picks, don’t hesitate to let us know and we’ll let you in on the secret.
